“Wether as conductor, instrumentalist or teacher, music is about transmission. I’ve been touring worldwide since 30 years now as a pianist, mainly in German repertoire and Beethoven in particular, playing and recording complete piano concertos, sonatas, and chamber music. My two mentors in music were Karl-Ulrich Schnabel and Leon Fleisher. Both transmitted to me the tradition and art of the great Artur Schnabel, the Hirst pianist to have recorded the 32 Beethoven sonatas ever, and I am very honoured and excited to have the privilege to share now this experience and knowledge through these online masterclasses, as I did many times in Seoul, Tokyo, Hong-Kong and recently famous and gorgeous Villecroze international music Academy in France.”
I am looking forward to meeting you online!
